🌟 ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The NAACP Willingboro & Vicinity Branch Scholarship Program proudly recognizes and supports outstanding young leaders who exemplify the values of the NAACP. This scholarship honors students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to social change and community empowerment.
This initiative reflects the NAACP’s ongoing mission to uplift the next generation through education and to eradicate racial prejudice and discrimination in education, employment, housing, and civil rights.
Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, sex, religion, age, disability, or national origin.
✅ ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be a member of the NAACP Willingboro & Vicinity Branch
- Age 21 or younger
- Not a member yet? Join today!
- Submit two (2) letters of recommendation
- Complete 25 hours of community service – Click here for volunteer opportunities
- Service period: August 2025 – April 17, 2026
- Deliver an oral presentation
- You may include any type of media of your choice (video, slideshow, creative format, etc.)
🏆 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Selected individual(s) from the pool of qualified applicants will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support financial assistance during the 2026–2027 academic year.
